About Me

I'm Nicolas Burgeff, a German Mexican photographer based in Brussels, the city where it al began. At first, like many others, I enjoyed photography but, I only practiced it when travelling to capture memories of family, people and places. Until, one day, I felt that it could be more for me, that I had to break the habit, and I did, by going outside my comfort zone and exploring street photography.

Art had always been a main interest of mine -it led me to do a Bachelor in Art History and a Master's degree in Cultural Management- and as I started taking my camera with me on every occasion it became quickly a passion.

Soon, I wanted to try myself at every genre and discover all the ways I could create. A curious and eager passion to explore the expressivity and intimacy of portraits, the simplicity and majesty of nature, to capture events, products, life...

A quest in continuous evolution, growth, and creativity, in which I'm always looking for the next project, the next theme to explore.
